At First Assembly of God we strive to minister to the entire family.  Every age group is equally important and has their own particular set of needs.  Because it is our goal to be a Life Center  for you and your family we provide spiritual nurturing and discipleship for ages 0 to 109. 

Children are not considered a hindrance at First Assembly, but a sacred trust that God has placed in our care.  Throughout the gospels Jesus always made time for children.  He upheld their tremendous worth in God's kingdom.  Likewise, he taught his disciples that unless they be like little children they could not inherit the kingdom of God.

Early Childhood I & II - our nursery is divided into two sections: Early Childhood I (6 weeks to 23 months), and Early Childhood II (ages 2 to 4 years).  Our goal is to not only to develop your child spiritually, but also mentally and physically.  Every toy in the nursery has been carefully chosen to improve eye-hand coordination and motor skills.

Kid's Church - For ages 5-12 years.  In Kid's Church children have the opportunity to worship God in a way that makes sense to them.  Cutting edge curriculum by Charisma Life challenges kids with exciting music, scripture memory verses, interactive Bible lessons and more.

M Pact - is a mid-week girl's ministry for ages K-5th grade.  Girls earn merits for learning such things as camping, cooking, arts & crafts, etc.

Royal Rangers is a mid-week boy's club for ages 5 -12 years.  Boys earn merits for learning such things as fire craft, rope craft, dog care, family life, etc.  Campouts are also a part of this exciting ministry.

A.C.T.S.- a youth ministry dedicated to seeing young people's lives changed.  In A.C.T.S. you will find powerful contemporary worship, the preaching of God's word, drama, outreach events and more.

First Assembly Choir - Our choir blends both traditional and contemporary songs as it "makes a joyful noise" unto the Lord during both the A.M. and P.M. services.  Both young and old alike are welcome to join.

Sunday School - being over 200 years old, the idea of Sunday School has certainly stood the test of time.  Why?  Because it works!  In Sunday School people study the Bible & learn more about God's character, pray for each other, develop friendships, work together to give back to their community, and more.  Sunday School  classes meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  There are classes for all ages.

Urban Bible Training Center (UBTC) - UBTC is an extension of Global University, the Assemblies of God distance education department.  UBTC provides a classroom experience for students who would otherwise be working on their own.  UBTC also provides people with the opportunity to be credentialed with the Assemblies of God, or if this is not their desire, to be involved in advanced Bible study.  First Assembly of God is the host church for the Marianna chapter of UBTC, which meets on Tuesday nights from 7 to 9:50 PM.

Teen Girls Ministries (TGM) -  this ministry is for girls in Middle School, called the Friends Club and girls in High School, known as the Girls Only Club.  Both clubs guide the girls in seeking God and discussing some of today's challenges.
