Virtually every society in the history of the world has understood the importance of passing down both practical and spiritual truths to its children. By design, children are curious and able to absorb large quanities of information in a short period of time. Thus, it could be said, that children are the perfect "learning machines," wether for positive or negative. It is also true, however, that by age 13 most children have set their course for life. In other words, the odds of children accepting Christ as their Savior become greatly reduced from this point on and for the rest of their lives.For this very reason, we, at First Assembly of God, consider Children's Ministries to be a crucial part of our church life and missions. The earlier we can expose children to God's word and help them to apply these truths, the more successful we will be in fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission to "make disciples of all nations."Yet, in fulfilling our mission to raise-up kids for Christ, we believe in having fun! In Kids Church we play games, do crafts, interact with puppets, go skating, raise money for missionaries, and lots more, all while teaching and reinforcing Biblical truths.We hope you will consider allowing your child or children to be a part of this exciting ministry. Kid's Church begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings and ends the same time as the morning worship service ends.
